Philosophy at Murdoch University

Part II Studies


In Part II, 24 points of "Required Units" must be taken. Students are required to complete 12 points from the core units, the other 12 points being chosen from from the program electives and the remaining core units.  All core units and program electives at Part II are worth 4 credit points each.

The remaining 24 Part II points are obtained by taking general electives from Philosophy or from other programs (provided any individual unit prerequisites, if required, are met), and, of course, from any core or program electives that you have not already done.

As mentioned earlier, please remember that Part II units cannot normally be taken until you have accumulated at least 18 points!

Film and Philosophy

Love and Friendship (PHL215) Available in 2011
Ancient Greek Ideas (PHL216)
